The front bumpers were replaced, while additional brightwork pieces were re-plated. The body was stripped and underwent metal repairs that included replacement of the floor panels, rocker panels, and door skins before a repaint in its factory shade of Carmen Red. The car was disassembled down to its unibody tub and placed on a rotisserie during the refurbishment that was started in 2016 by Eau Claire British Car under the previous owner and later completed by the shop’s successor, Chippewa Valley British Car. This Series I E-Type is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in Tonka Bay, Minnesota, with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, photos and invoices from the refurbishment, a tool kit, a jack, and a clean Wisconsin title. A restoration was initiated under prior ownership through the then-owner’s shop, Eau Claire British Car in Wisconsin, and was completed following the current owner’s acquisition in 2022 after the previous owner’s passing. This 1964 Jaguar E-Type is a Series I open two-seater that was manufactured on July 4, 1963, shortly before being dispatched to Jaguar Cars of New York for distribution in the US. ![]()
